It was another fantastic episode for Week 2 of the auditions. As I really enjoyed the acts that were on this week, one of them being a contestant I've been following for some time, Sofia pressing her first Golden Buzzer, and I think I've found the ones to win this season. Without any further or due, here is my ranking for Week 2 auditions, and as always I'll share my thoughts on the episode as a whole, as well as who I think are the contenders.
10. Frankie LaPenna - (2/10)
This is one of these acts where words aren't even able to be described. I mean he was basically popping balloons with his behind, which I will say was rather interesting.
9. Brad & Tracy - (6/10)
Normally I love seeing danger acts on the show. But for some reason was really tough to watch the whole way through, I mean some of the tricks were rather impressive, but at the same time it's one of these acts where I think it's too much in a way.
8. Abiud Sando - (6/10)
This is one of those acts, where I think it's just so stupid, but at the same it's brilliant, and he is the definition of that. While the dancing itself wasn't great, at the exact same time he is just such a character which is what makes him so fun.
7. Cesar Dias - (8/10)
Physical comedy is one of my absolute favourites, so this was right up my street! The whole routine was so wacky, and it's one of these acts that I think is perfect for the whole family, and anyone of any ages. Just like Howie mentioned, he was the best way to end of the night.
6. Nyjah & Zyah - (9/10)
I need this song on the radio RIGHT NOW! I absolutely love both of their voices, not only that but the harmonies that blended together was absolute bliss. And the song overall was just out of this world, and I think they are an act that could not only do well, but also have a huge career afterwards too as the potential they have is HUGE! Cannot wait to see what they do next.
5. Holland & Sienna - (10/10)
My jaw was literally wide open throughout the whole act. I'm a huge fan of aerial acts, and these 2 were an absolute spectacle to watch. The way they utilised the stage, not only that, but the song choice was absolutely perfect for this routine. And some of the stunts that were done was just mind-blowing. Absolutely superb!
4. Geno Ploeger - (10/10)
This guy is absolutely brilliant! I love seeing magic on the show, and what I love most about this act is that not only the slight of hand was absolutely superb, but also his storytelling is also really touching, and seeing his reaction just shows how much this means to him. I think he could be a real dark horse this season because he has so much potential
3. Rynia Kando - (10/10)
I've been following her on social media for a while so I'm over the moon that she's taken her moment! I found the running gag really funny throughout, and not only did she nail the impressions, but she also has an incredible singing voice alongside that. I'm honestly hoping she makes it far this season because she has so much potential.
2. Lara D - (10/10)
Her voice is absolutely incredible, and what I loved most about this audition, is not only did she sing that song brilliantly, as it's not easy taking on RAYE, but she made it her very own which makes her stand out, not only that, but she has this superstar glow to her which is just indescribable. The fact Sofia beat Howie to it just shows how brilliant she was and that's a fact! So well deserved.
1, Hundred Fingers - (100/10)
I think we've just found the winner of this season! They were the act I was the most looking forward to seeing, especially seeing Yu Hojin returning with a group, and all I can say is this was absolutely remarkable, and genuinely one of the best acts I've ever seen on Got Talent. Everything from the slight of hand, the coordination, the timing, the music, everything was just another level. And to be honest this didn't feel like an audition, it felt like watching a headline Vegas act right in the moment. They so deserved that Golden Buzzer, and I think they're just late with themselves as the ones to win the whole thing!
Overall, I thought it was a great episode this week, right now I think Hundred Fingers have solidified themselves as the contenders to win the whole thing, Lara was also deserving of the GB and could see her going far. And some of the others like Geno Ploeger, Rynia Kando, and Holland & Sienna I also think could do really well once we get to the live shows.
That's my ranking for this week. And feel free to share what you thought of Week 2 as well!
